22OperationHow to Use the Shelf When Microwaving(only for NN-H264)1. The shelf must be positioned on Shelf Supports securely toprevent damage to the oven from arcing.2. DO NOT use a microwave browning dish on the shelf. Theshelf and dish could overheat.3. DO NOT use the oven with the shelf on the microwave floor.This could damage the microwave.4. Use pot holders when handling the shelf—it may be hot.Caution:Do not heat liquids on shelf, use the turntable for heating liq-uids.Also be careful when removing hot items from the shelf orturntable.Placement of the Roller RingBefore using the microwave oven, be sure the Roller Ring isproperly installed. Incorrect installation can result in impropercooking, damage to the oven or spillage of food. The RollerRing must be located on the surface between the raised riband raised floor.For best cooking results1-Level cookingFood microwaves best when placedonto the turntable, with turntable on(rotating).When a large dish or more than onedish is used for cooking, the turntablecan be turned off.
