ReferenceVQT3C8497The HDD is a high precision recording instrument andbecause of its long recording capability and high speedoperation it is a very special device that is easily susceptibleto damage.∫ The HDD is a device that is not built towithstand vibration/shock or dustDepending on the setup environment and handling of theHDD some content may become damaged and play andrecording may no longer be possible. Especially duringoperation, do not subject the unit to any vibration, shock, orremove the AC mains lead from the household mainssocket. In the event of a power failure during recording orplay, the content may be damaged.∫ HDD is a very special device that is easilysusceptible to damageThis unit cannot save (backup) the HDD titles to media. Youhave to be very careful when handling the unit and editingthe title.∫ How to hold a disc or SD cardDo not touch the recorded surface or the terminal surface.∫ If there is dirt or condensation on the discWipe with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.∫ Handling precautions≥Do not attach labels or stickers to discs.≥Do not use record cleaning sprays, benzine, thinner, staticelectricity prevention liquids or any other solvent.≥Do not use ballpoint pens or other hard writing implements,when writing on the label side of the disc.≥Do not expose the terminals of the SD card to water,garbage or other strange things.≥Do not drop stack, or impact discs. Do not place objects onthem.≥Do not use the following discs:– Discs with exposed adhesive from removed stickers orlabels (rental discs, etc.).– Discs that are badly warped or cracked.≥Do not place in the following areas:– In direct sunlight.– In very dusty or humid areas.– Near a heater.– Locations susceptible to significant difference intemperature (condensation can occur).– Where static electricity or electromagnetic waves occur.HDD (Hard disk drive) handling care Media handlingThis unit cannot copy the titles in the HDD to themedia.
