TroubleshootingVQT3C8491There is a lot of image lag when playingvideo.¾ Set “HD optimizer” in the Picture menu to “Off”. (> 73)¾ Set “Audio Delay”. (> 79)The images from this unit do not appear onthe TV.The picture is distorted during play, or videowill not play correctly.¾ Check the connection and the TV’s input settings.¾ The unit’s “TV System” setting differs from the TV systemused by the disc now playing. While stopped, keeppressing [∫] (STOP) and [< OPEN/CLOSE] on the mainunit for 5 or more seconds. The system switches fromPAL to NTSC or vice versa. (> 80)¾ Picture may not be seen when more than 4 devices areconnected with HDMI cables.Reduce the number of connected devices.¾ The picture may be distorted or a black screen mayappear between scenes recorded with different aspectratios.¾ DVD-R DL and +R DL discs have two writable layers onone side. Video and audio may momentarily cut out whenthe unit is switching layers.¾ Set “Deep Colour Output” (> 81) or “Contents Type Flag”(> 81) to “Off”.3D video is not output correctly.¾ Check the settings on this unit and the TV. (> 43)¾ When a non-3D compatible amplifier/receiver isconnected between this unit and a TV, 3D video is notoutput. (> 16)¾ When the amplifier/receiver which is connected betweenthis unit and a TV is off, 3D video is not output. (> 16)¾ Discs that have recorded titles with Side by side(2 screen structure) and that can be enjoyed in 3D areplayed back in accordance with the settings of the TV.¾ When “HDMI Audio Output” is set to “Off”, 3D video maynot be output correctly.
