RecordingVQT4W68 31If “Overlapped Timer Recording” screenappearsYou can eliminate the overlapping or may changewith repeat event for the duplicated programme.1 Select “Change”, then press [OK].2 Follow the on-screen instructions.Operation during RecordingRefer to “Operation during Recording”. (> 29)• This unit has several functions that enable timer recordingsto be controlled by the signal sent from the broadcaster.(> right) If the signal is not sent correctly, the recordingmay lack the beginning or the ending part of theprogrammes.• Category may not be assigned correctly depending on theprogramme information.• Some broadcasters may not send programme information.When programme information is not displayed correctly,use manual timer recording. (> 32)• The receipt of the TV Guide data via Set Top Box is notpossible.• When timer recording from the external equipment, usemanual timer recording. (> 32)• Titles recorded using “Series Timer Rec.” are bundled anddisplayed as a “group” in the DIRECT NAVIGATOR screen(> 36).• If the unit cannot record the selected programme, the unitwill record the repeat programme if it is available.
