- 30 -Settings¾Screen Saver FunctionThis is to prevent image retention on thescreen.≥ When this is set to “On”:If a list of playback content is displayed andthere is no operation for 10 minutes or more,the screen switches to HOME menuautomatically.≥ While playing and pausing, etc., this functionis not available.¾On-Screen MessagesChoose whether to show status messagesautomatically.¾HDMI CEC≥ Select “Off” when you do not want to use“HDMI CEC”.∫ Unit SettingsPress [OK] to show the following settings:¾Mixed Data Disc OptionSelect the playback contents on discs with bothdata files and Video.≥ If “MP3/JPEG/MKV” is selected, data file canbe played back.≥ If “BDAV/AVCHD” is selected, BDAV andAVCHD can be played back.¾Edit User InformationChange the user information registered in theHOME menu.∫ Quick StartSpeed of start-up from standby mode isincreased.≥ When set to “On”, the internal control unit will bepowered and the idle power consumption willincrease so compared to when set to “Off”.(Power consumption > 36)∫ Remote ControlChange the remote control code if otherPanasonic products react to this remote control.∫ Firmware Update (> 14)Press [OK] to show the following settings:¾Automatic Update CheckWhen this equipment remains connected to theInternet, it will check for the latest firmwareversion when it is turned on and you can updateit if necessary.¾Update NowYou can update the firmware manually if afirmware update is available.∫ System InformationPress [OK] to show the following settings:¾Software LicenceInformation about the software used by this unitis displayed.¾Firmware Version InformationDisplay firmware version of this unit andwireless LAN module.∫ Default SettingsSet to use “HDMI CEC” function whenconnected via HDMI cable to a device thatsupports “HDMI CEC”.¾Front Panel DisplayChanges the brightness of the unit’s display.≥ If “Automatic” is selected, the display is set tobright and only dimmed during playback.¾Blue LED [BDT465] [BDT460]Set whether to light the blue LED in the centreof this unit when turned ON.¾HDMI(SUB) V.OFF LED Control[BDT465] [BDT460]Set to light the HDMI (SUB) V.OFF LED or not.≥ This will light when “HDMI(SUB) OutputMode” (> 27) is set to “V.OFF(Video Off)”.∫ Start-up BannerSelect whether to display the banner after turningon this unit. (> 16)This returns all values in the Setup menu and theOption menu to the default settings, except forsome settings of network, ratings, remote controlcode, on-screen language, etc.
