During operation, the computer can becomequite hot.When oil accumulates on the surface of the touch pad, use adamp cloth with dish washing liquid to wipe the surface, or acompact cassette head cleaner to remove the oil. The cursormay not move well when the surface is not clean.M a i n t e n a n c eDo not use solutions such as benzene or another thinner. A soft,dry cloth is recommended.It is a good idea to make backup copies on floppy disks andcarry them with you.Do not leave a floppy disk in the drive while transporting yourcomputer.Do not carry your computer when it is ON.We recommend preparing a fully charged battery (and op-tional charger, if possible).When transporting spare batteries inside a package, briefcase,etc., it is recommended that the batteries be stored in a plasticbag.C a r r y i n gWhen flyingAlways carry your computer with you. Never check it withluggage.Usage, Carrying and MaintenanceThese areas may interfere with yourdisplay or cause your computer toproduce strange sounds.Do not carry the computer while the display is open, orcarry it by gripping the display.Do not put anything (e.g., a piece of paper) between thedisplay and keyboard.Do not drop or hit your computer against solid objects.If you have to ship your computer, make absolutely surethat it is packed with adequate protection.Do not use a dry/wet (with water) cloth to wipe the display. Werecommend cleaning the display with a soft cloth applied withisopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol. Please do not use other typesof chemicals.Do not allow discs to become dirty or scratched.Do not place or store discs in locations exposed to heat, directsunlight, humidity or dust.Do not write on the surface of the disc with ball-point pen orother writing instrument.Do not drop, bend, or place heavy objects on top of discs.C D - R O MIf a disc gets dirty, after wiping the disc witha moist, soft cloth, wipe it with a dry cloth.Always wipe from the center toward the edge.If the disc is brought from cold into a warm environment,moisture may form on the disc. Wipe this moisture offwith a soft, dry, lint-free cloth before using the disc.Cleaning the disc using a disc cleaner (LF-K022DC) isrecommended once every 2 or 3 months.
