Set up the camera.Connect the camera to your router with an Ethernet cable to set up the camera.• Before you begin the installation, the UPnPTM feature in your routerneeds to be enabled. Usually, the default setting disables thisfeature. For more info, please visit,http://panasonic.co.jp/pcc/products/en/netwkcam/ or contact yourrouter's manufacturer.• These instructions assume your PC is already connected to the Internetand your home network includes a router that is UPnP TM (Universal Plugand Play) compliant.• The camera will be connected to your router using a "straight" Cat5network cable (customer-provided).Connect the AC adaptor cord to the DC In jack, and plug theAC cord into the outlet.• The AC cord is used as the main disconnect device, ensure that the socket-outlet is located/installed near the equipment and is easily accessible.• Use only specified Panasonic AC adaptor PQLV202 (Order No.PQLV202X [for BB-HCM311], PQLV202V [for BB-HCM331]).• If the indicator does not light green, see page 3 of the Troubleshooting manual(for BB-HCM311) or page 44 of the Installation/Troubleshooting manual (for BB-HCM331) on the Setup CD-ROM.• A noise can be heard during pan/tilt operation. (See page 14 ofthe Operating Instructions on the Setup CD-ROM)• If more than 20 minutes have passed since the camera was turned on, thecamera cannot be set up from the Setup Program. In this situation,disconnect the AC cord from the outlet, and reconnect it again.• The Setup Program may not list any cameras due to your firewall orantivirus software settings on your PC. If you cannot disable your firewall orantivirus software, you can set up the camera entering the camera MACaddress on the following window. The camera's MAC address can be foundon the label affixed to the back of each camera.
