This is a one-way protocolfiltering mechanism that prevents the AP from transmitting specified protocolsfrom a wired Ethernet LAN into the wireless LAN. If you do not require particularprotocols on the wireless part of your network, you can save bandwidth byenabling the protocol filter.Figure 13.
