Anexample would be an ice machine that energizes the gearmotor, but the compressor does not energize. Followingthe electrical flowchart will quickly and easily eliminatenon issues.RF0244/ RNS0244/RF0266/RF0385/RFS0385/RF0388/RF0399/RNS0385TroubleshootingSELF-CONTAINED AIR-COOLEDNormal OperationWhen the toggle switch is placed in the “ON” position thefollowing controls must be in the closed position beforethe ice machine will start:A. Bin ThermostatB. Low Evaporator Temperature ThermostatC. Low Water Level SwitchNOTE: Placing the toggle switch in the ON position startsthe gear motor and refrigeration system. The float valvecontrols the water inlet valve and water level. The freezecycle ends when ice contacts the bin thermostat. The icemachine will restart when ice no longer contacts the binthermostat.Troubleshooting
