12Intended useElectric sawsThis electric saw may be used only for sawing wood.It is intended for occasional use in thin wood, caringfor fruit trees, felling, removing limbs, and trimming tolength.Persons who may not sue the saw:This saw must not be used by persons who are notfamiliar with this instruction manual, children, youngpeople, or anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugsor medication.Chain saw safety warnings: DO NOT let comfortor familiarity with product (gained from repeateduse) replace strict adherence to chain saw safetyrules. If you use this tool unsafely or incorrectly,you can suffer serious personal injury.1. Keep all parts of the body away from the sawchain when the chain saw is operating. Beforeyou start the chain saw, make sure the sawchain is not contacting anything. A moment ofinattention while operating chain saws may causeentanglement of your clothing or body with the sawchain.2. Always hold the chain saw with your right handon the rear handle and your left hand on thefront handle. Holding the chain saw with a reversedhand configuration increases the risk of personalinjury and should never be done.3. Wear safety glasses and hearing protection.Further protective equipment for head, hands,legs and feet is recommended. Adequateprotective clothing will reduce personal injury byflying debris or accidental contact with the sawchain.4. Do not operate a chain saw in a tree.
