Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to thecomputer.2. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 82.3. Insert the notched end 2 of the new memory module into the slot 1 . Press the memory modulefirmly and pivot the memory module until it snaps into place.
