For information about removing the switch from other supportedracks, see the appropriate section in this chapter.To remove the G8264 from a standard rack, complete the following steps:1. Disconnect all external cables.2. If the 1U air duct option has been installed, remove it as described in“Removing the 1U Air Duct Option” on page 66.3. Loosen and remove M6 screws, washers, and clip nuts (or cage nuts) toremove the switch unit from the rack.4. Slide the switch out of the rack.5. Loosen and remove the M4 screws attaching the mounting bracket on eachside of the switch.6. If replacing the unit with another G8264, see “Replacing the G8264” onpage 67.12356
