Signs of damage may include adented or torn shipping container or cushioning material that indicates signsof unusual stress or compacting. Save the packaging material in case the LCRmeter needs to be returned.2 Carefully remove the contents from the shipping container, and verify that thestandard accessories and your ordered options are included in the shipmentaccording to the standard shipped items list found in the printed copy of theU1731C/U1732C/U1733C Quick Start Guide.3 For any question or problems, refer to the Keysight contact numbers on theback of this manual.Install the batteryYour LCR meter is powered by a single 9 V alkaline battery (included with theshipment). When you receive your LCR meter, the 9 V alkaline battery is notinstalled.Use the following procedure to install the battery.CAUTION Before you proceed with the battery installation, remove all cableconnections to the terminals and ensure that the LCR meter is turned OFF.Use only the battery type specified in “Characteristics and Specifications” onpage 89.
