Details on the tests are provided inSection 1.WARNING Since the Model 2790 system is not an intrinsically safe device, it is theresponsibility of the user to ensure that external protection be provided,either by an inherently safe electrical barrier and/or a safety barrieraround the DUT, or airbag, to prevent injury in case of detonation.Test proceduresTables — Test procedures for remote programming and front panel are presented in tables.All test procedures assume the 7751, 7752, or 7753 module is installed in slot 1 of themainframe.NOTE Only one Model 7753 can be installed in a Model 2790 and it should be installedin slot 1. A 7753 module can be used in slot 2, but measurement accuracy might beadversely affected because cards are always calibrated in slot 1.NOTE A displayed channel number on the Model 2790 is made up of the slot (1 or 2)and module channel. Examples:102 = Slot 1, channel 2218 = Slot 2, channel 18Key-press sequences — Test procedures for front panel operation are presented as key-presssequences.
