20ENGLISH Safety instructions for Navigation SystemSAFETY INSTRUCTIONSUse of the Navigation System is only permittedif the traffic conditions are suitable and youare absolutely sure that no risk, obstructionor inconvenience will be incurred to you,your passengers or other road users. Therequirements of the Road Traffic Regulationsmust always be followed. The destination mustnot be entered while driving the car.The Navigation System serves solely as an aidto navigation. It never releases the drivers fromtheir duties to drive carefully and to makeown judgement in road traffic. Inaccurateor incorrect instructions may happen to begiven due to changing traffic conditions. Theactual road signs and traffic regulations musttherefore always be observed. In particular, theNavigation System cannot be used as an aid toorientation when visibility is poor.This Navigation System must only be used forits intended purpose. The volume of the carradio/Navigation System must be adjusted sothat external noise is still audible.• Traffic signs should be observed carefullywhile driving using the Navigation System.Navigation System is only an aid. Driver mustalways decide whether or not to heed theinformation provided. JVC does not acceptliability for erroneous data provided by theNavigation System.• Traffic guidance is restricted topassenger vehicles only. Special drivingrecommendations and regulations for othervehicles (e.g. commercial vehicles) are notincluded.• Do not operate the unit while driving.Terms of licenceYou are granted a non-exclusive licence to usethe database for your personal purposes. Thepresent licence does not authorise the grantingof sublicenses.Use of the data is only permitted in thisspecific JVC system. It is forbidden to extractor make further use of significant parts ofthe database content, or to duplicate, modify,adapt, translate, analyse, decompile or reverse-engineer any part thereof.Navigation guidance is performed, based onthe database, therefore, it may not be applicableto the current situation because of changes intraffic conditions (e.g. changes in tollroads,principal roads, one-way traffic, or other trafficregulations). In this case, observe the currenttraffic signs or regulations.
