Instructions for the installer2812.2.3 Replacing the electric cableTo replace the electric cable, it is necessary to access the terminal board. It is located on the backof the appliance, at the top left, as shown in the figure.To replace the cable, proceed as follows:• open the terminal board box;• unscrew the screw A that locks the cable;• loosen the screw contacts and replace the cablewith one of the same length that corresponds to thespecifications in the table in section “12.2.1 Electricpower cable section”;• the "yellow-green" earth wire must be connected tothe terminal and must be approximately 20 mmlonger than the line cables;• the neutral "blue" wire must be connected to theterminal marked with the letter N;• the live "brown" must be connected to the terminalmarked with the letter L.12.3 Power consumption of the ceramic hobThe ceramic hob has different power consumptionsdepending on the type of heating element used. Thediagram shows the values of the power consumed.In the envisaged cases, the first numeric valuerefers to the total power, whereas the value thatfollows the symbol "/" refers to the inside diameter,with the exception of the central heating element,whose value that follows "/" refers to the outerdiameter.12.4 Ventilation in rooms with gas appliancesThis appliance is not connected to an exhaust device for products of combustion. It must thereforebe installed and connected in compliance with current installation standards. Pay particularattention to standards applied to room aeration.This appliance can only be installed in ventilated rooms, according to current standards, so as toallow, with openings onto external walls or appropriate ducts, for correct natural or forcedventilation that permanently and sufficiently ensures both the air intake necessary for correctcombustion and the expelling of vitiated air.
