Fire extinguisher• Keep a fire extinguisher near during operation.• Use a powder fire extinguisher or a carbon dioxidefire extinguisher.Work area safetyWARNING: Read the warninginstructions that follow before you use theproduct.• It is the responsibility of the user to analyse thesurface to be treated. The user should make a riskassessment on the basis of the information obtainedabout the surface to be treated and take properprecautions for the work to be performed.• Do not use the product in fog, rain, strong winds,cold weather, risk of lightning or other bad weatherconditions.• Look out for persons, objects and situations that canprevent safe operation of the product.• Do not use the product in areas where fire orexplosions can occur. The product creates sparksand flammable material can create ignition with thedust or fumes.• Keep children, bystanders and animals away fromthe work area and at a safe distance from theproduct. Safe distance is 10 m• Make sure that bystanders and animals are notin the work area and at a safe distance from theproduct.• Make sure that only approved persons are in thework area.• Keep the work area clean and fully illuminated.Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.• Remove objects such as screws, bolts, wires andstones from the work area before you use theproduct.• Make sure that there are no cables or hoses in theoperation direction of the product.• Make sure that uneven surfaces, such as weldedseams or floor joints, do not stop the product.• Make sure that there is sufficient airflow in the workarea.Electrical safetyWARNING: There is always a risk ofshocks from electrical products. Do not usethe product in bad weather conditions. Donot touch lightning conductors and metalobjects. Always use the product as given inthis operator’s manual to prevent injury.WARNING: Always use a power supplywith RCD (residual-current device). An RCDdecreases the risk of electrical shock.WARNING: High voltage. There areunprotected parts in the power unit. Alwaysdisconnect the power plug before you openthe door to the electrical box.WARNING: Only use the socket outleton the machine for purposes specified in theinstructions.CAUTION: The power supply fromthe product or generator must be sufficientand constant to make sure that the motoroperates without problems. Incorrect voltagecauses the power consumption and thetemperature of the motor to increase untilthe safety circuit releases. The dimensionof the power cord must agree with nationaland local regulations. The dimension of themains socket must agree with the amperagefor the electrical socket and extension cableof the product.If the power mains has higher systemresistance, short voltage drop can occurwhen the product is started. This caninfluence the operation of other products, forexample flicker on the lights.• The power plug must match the outlet. Never modifythe plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugswith earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodifiedplugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electricshock.• Avoid body contact with earthed or groundedsurfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges andrefrigerators.
