OperationIntroductionWARNING: Before you operate theproduct, you must read and understand thesafety chapter.To do before you operate the product1. Read the operator's manual carefully and make surethat you understand the instructions.2. Read the operator's manual for the dust extractorcarefully and make sure that you understand theinstructions.3. If the product is operated in connection with a powersource, make sure that you read and understand theoperator's manual of that power source.4. Use personal protective equipment. Refer toPersonal protective equipment on page 6.5. Make sure that only approved persons are in thework area.6. Do daily maintenance. Refer toMaintenanceschedule on page 19.7. Make sure that the product is assembled correctlyand is not damaged.8. Make sure that all bolts, screws and nuts aretightened.9. Make sure that the blastwheel, feed spout, liners andsealing are not damaged or worn out. Replace theparts when 75% of the blade thickness has beenworn away.10. Make sure that the separator is not damaged.11. Make sure that the separator is filled with abrasiveup to the separator tray.12. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that thesurface is level. Make sure that the transportation ofthe product to and in the work area is done safelyand correctly. Refer toTransportation on page 25.13. Connect a dust extractor to the product. Refer toToconnect a dust extractor on page 14.14. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in OFF positionbefore you connect the product to a power supply.15. Connect the product to a power source. Refer toToconnect the product to a power source on page 15.16. Make sure that the brush list seals are in the correctheight. Refer to .17. Make sure that the magnetic seals are in the correctheight. Refer to .Drive systemThe drive system is used during operation and allowsthe product to be moved around with the traction wheel.Refer toTo move the product with the drive system onpage 26.Always engage the drive system during operation.To engage the drive systemWARNING: Keep your hands awayfrom rotating parts. Be very careful whenyou attach the quick-release pin.Install the quick-release pin to engage the drive system.The quick-release pin is found above the traction wheel.Refer toProduct overview on page 3.1.
