2Overriding Alarms, Faults orTampers while SettingIf the message ent=CONTINUE SET is displayedon the keypad’s LCD, press ent to override thatparticular alarm, fault or tamper condition.If the message ent=CONTINUE SET is notdisplayed on the keypad’s LCD, an engineer isrequired to attend to the alarm, fault or tampercondition.The MenuThere are two menu structures, a full menu and aquick menu.The Full MenuThe full menu is made up of various options whichenable users to modify the functions of the system.Only authorised users and engineers have access tothe full menu.The Quick MenuThe quick menu is a made up of ten options from themain menu. This menu structure is the default forusers with a level of 2.3 and above.Accessing the MenuTo access the menu:1. Key in a valid PIN and press ent (themenu accessed will depend on the user’slevel and authorisation).2. Press the A > and < B keys to scrollthrough the menu options.3. Press ent to enter a menu option.If an alarm, fault or tamper is present on thekeypad’s LCD it must be overridden before themenu can be accessed. Refer to the alarms, faults andtampers paragraph of this quick user guide.Menu OptionsThe menu options are used to modify particularfunctions of the system. The main menu options are:• Menu 11 – Omit zones• Menu 22 – Display log• Menu 42 – Codes• Menu 47 – Remote access• Menu 48 – Access authorisation.Note: For more information on all the menuoptions, refer to the full user guide.Menu 11 – Omit ZonesThis menu option enables a user, with a level of 2.3or above, to select zones in the system that they donot want to be set.Menu 22 – Display LogThis menu option enables a user, with a level of2.4 or above, to view a history log of the system’sevents.Menu 42 – CodesThis menu option enables a manager, with a level of3.6 or above, to assign, modify or delete a user’ssettings.Menu 47 – Remote AccessThis menu option enables a manager, with a level of3.6 or above, to control the remote servicingconnections.Menu 48 – Access AuthorisationThis menu option is where Engineer Access isenabled to allow an engineer to program the system.User AdministrationTo add a new user to the system or to modify acurrent user’s settings use the menu option42.1=User Codes. This menu’s main uses are toassign or modify a user’s:• PIN• level• Allocated groups.
