In addition, the DVDplayer is capable of playing back both Dolby Digitaland DTS soundtracks, but the number and types oftracks available will vary from disc to disc. To makecertain that a specific feature or soundtrack option isavailable, please check the options noted on the discjacket.Playback capability for CD-R, CD-RW■ , JPEG, MP3,DivX, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD+RWdiscs may vary due to variations in the quality ofthe disc and the recorder used to create the disc.The DVD player is compatible with most discs■recorded with files encoded using MP3 as well asJPEG still images. However, note that variationsin the encoder or codec used and the bit rateof the encoding may affect the DVD player'sability to play back a specific disc. As a result,we cannot guarantee complete compatibilitywith all encoders and versions of the codecs. Forbest results, we recommend that MP3 files beencoded at bit rates ranging between 32kbps and320kbps.
