42 GPSMAP 176/176C Owner’s ManualM AIN PAGES > M AP PAGEThe Map page options menu provides access to functions andfeatures relating to the Map page and options for layout of the page.Press MENU to display the Map page options: Measure Distance,Show/Hide Next Street, Setup Page Layout, Change Data Fields,Setup Map, and Declutter On/Off. Use the ROCKER to highlight theoption and press ENTER to select.Map Page OptionsMeasure Distance—allows you to measure the bearing/distancebetween two points on the map.Show Next Street/Hide Next Street—displays the next cross streetin a window at the top of the display. This option is only available ifMapSource data is loaded. Highlight the Show Next Street optionand press ENTER to show the next street. Highlight the Hide NextStreet option and press ENTER to hide the next street window.Setup Page Layout—allows you to choose the size of text andnumber of data fields.Change Data Fields—allows you to specify the type of datadisplayed in each data field used on the map display. This option isavailable from any of the main pages.Set Up Map—jumps to the Map tab of the Main Menu, allowingyou to configure the map display to your preferences, including mapdetail, map orientation, automatic zoom, and various map items andpoints. The map setup option uses a file tab feature, organizing thevarious settings for ease of use.Declutter On/Declutter Off—toggles between showing spotsoundings and map outlines for easier viewing.
