Some application features include theability to download GPS sensor configuration, maintain different configurations in files, and perform GPS sensorconfigurations quickly with the use of one function key.This section provides a brief overview of the Sensor Configuration Software. Refer to this section when using thesoftware to configure your Garmin sensor.Downloading the Sensor Configuration SoftwareThe Garmin Sensor Configuration Software (SNSRXCFG.exe) is availablefrom the Garmin Web site. To download the software, start atwww.garmin.com/oem, select GPS 19x, and then select Updates andDownloads. The Garmin Sensor Configuration Software is included in thesoftware update download.Selecting a ModelAfter opening the program (snsrcfg.exe), the Set Base Model to… Windowappears. Select the radio button next to the type of Garmin sensor you areconfiguring.Connecting to the SensorAfter selecting the type of sensor, the following window opens. This is theMain Interface Screen for the program.To configure your sensor, you must first connectto the 19x sensor.1. Select Config > Switch to NMEA Mode(or press the F10 key).2. Select Comm > Setup to open the CommSetup Window.3. Select the serial port to which the sensor isconnected. Select Auto to have the programautomatically determine the baud rate, orselect Manual to manually select the baudrate of the GPS 19x HVS. Click OK whendone.4. Click the Connect icon , or select Comm> Connect.5. To view the current programming of thesensor, select Config > Get Configurationfrom GPS (or press the F8 key). Thecurrent programming of the sensor isdisplayed in the window shown to the right.
