Safety Instructions Operating Instructions Care and Cleaning Troubleshooting Tips Consumer SupportYour control will allow you to lock out the touchpads so they cannot be activated when pressed.To lock/unlock the controls:Press the CONTROL LOCK pad for 3seconds, until the control screenshows CONTROL IS LOCKED.To unlock the control, press theCONTROL LOCK pad for 3 seconds,until CONTROL IS LOCKED disappearsfrom the control screen and themain menu is displayed.When this feature is on and the touchpads are pressed, the control will showCONTROL IS LOCKED. The control lockout mode affectsall touch pads. The control will remain lockedafter a power failure.Using the clock, timer and control lockout. ge.comTo Set the ClockThe clock must be set to the correct timeof day for the automatic oven timingfunctions to work properly. The time ofday cannot be changed during timedbaking, a self-cleaning cycle or delayedstart time.Select SETTINGS.Select CLOCK.Press the number pads.Select ENTER.Make sure the clock is set to thecorrect time of day.To Set the TimerPress the KITCHEN TIMER pad.Press the number pads until theamount of time you want showsin the display. For example, to set2 hours and 45 minutes, press 2, 4and 5 in that order. If you make amistake, press the KITCHEN TIMERpad and begin again.Select START.After selecting START, SET disappears;this tells you the time is counting down,although the display does not change untilone minute has passed. Seconds will not beshown in the display until the last minute iscounting down.When the timer reaches :00,the control will beep 3 timesfollowed by one beep every6 seconds until the KITCHENTIMER pad is pressed once.The continuous beep can be canceled byfollowing the steps in the Settings sectionunder Tones at the End of a Timed Cycle.KITCHENTIMERThe timer is an hour and minutetimer only.The timer does not control ovenoperations. The maximum setting onthe timer is 9 hours and 59 minutes.To set 10 minutes, enter 10. DO NOTenter 10:00!To Reset the TimerIf the remaining time is not in the display(clock, delay start or cooking time are inthe display), recall the remaining time bypressing the KITCHEN TIMER pad or usingREVIEW TIMES.You may change it by pressing theKITCHEN TIMER pad, then press thenumber pads until the time you wantappears in the display.To Cancel the TimerPress KITCHEN TIMER pad twice.Control LockoutCONTROLLOCK17
