You may scour with a plastic scouring padto remove burned-on food particles. The round caps mayalso be cleaned in your dishwasher.Burner HeadsWash the burner heads routinely, especially after badspillovers, which could clog the openings. Lift burners offwhen cool. Use hot, soapy water. Rinse with clean water.For more stubborn stains, use a brush with plastic bristles.NOTE: Do not use steel wool or scouring powders toclean the burner parts as these may clog the parts.Never wash burner heads in your dishwasher asdishwasher detergents will discolor your burners.The ports in the burner heads must be kept clean at alltimes for an even, unhampered flame.Clogged or dirty burner ports or electrodes will not allowthe burner to operate properly.For proper ignition, make sure the small hole in the notchthat fits over the electrode is kept open.
