When thesurface is cool, clean and rinse.i_ Do not use oven cleaners,cleansingpowders or harsh abrasives on theoutside of the doonOven BottomThe oven bottom has a porcelain enamelfinish. To make cleaning easier,protect theoven bottom from excessive spillovers bgplacing a cookie sheet on the shelf below theshelf gou are cooking on. This is particularlgimportant when baking a fruit pie or otherfoods with a high acid content. Hot fruitfillings or other foods that are highlg acidic(such as tomatoes, sauerkraut, and sauceswith vinegar or lemon juice) mag causepitting and damage to the porcelain enamelsurface and should be wiped up immediatelg.We don't recommend using aluminum foil onthe oven bottom. It can affect air flow if theholes are blocked and it can concentrate heatat the bottom of the oven, resulting in poorbaking performance.To clean up spillovers, use soap and water,an abrasive cleaner or soap-filled scouringpad. Removethe oven bottom for easierclean-up and to prevent damage to thecontinuous cleaning oven coating(on some models).24
