If heavy spilloveroccurs, remove the surface burners from therange. Burners lift out for cleaning. Lift up thecooktop and then lift out the surface burners.To remove burned-on food, soak the surfaceburner in a solution of mild liquid detergentand hot water. Soak the surface burner for20-30 minutes.For more stubborn stains, use a cleanser likeSoft Scrub®brand or Ban Ami®brand. Rinsewell to remove any traces of the cleanserthat might clog the surface burner openings.Do not use steel wool because it will clogthe surface burner openings and scratch thesurface burners.
