Thehandlebar clamp must be positionedbetween the arrows on the handlebardecal.1. Lift handlebar to upright position.Handlebar2, Rotate handlebar/clamp counter-clockwise toward engine untilclamp falls into groove of base.HandlebarHandlebarClamp ',,ClampBase3. Place the handlebar in a comfort-able position.4. Retighten handlebar by turningclamp knob clockwise until handle-bar is secure and stationary inclamp base (clamp knob can notbe overtightened).ASSEMBLY OF SHOULDER STRAPWARNING: Proper shoulderstrap and handlebar adjustments arerequired before starting the engine.1. Try on shoulder strap and adjust forfit and balance before starting theengine or beginning a cutting opera-tion.2. Insert your right arm and headthrough the shoulder strap and al-low it to rest on your left shoulder.Make sure the danger sign is onyour back and the hook is to theright side of your waist.NOTE: A one-half twist is built in theshoulder strap to allow the strap to restflat on the shoulder.3. Adjust the strap, allowing the hookto be about 6 inches below thewaist.4. Fasten the strap hook to the clamplocated between the trigger handleand the handlebar clamp base andlift the tool to the operating position.
