TO LEVEL MOWEREnsure tires are properly inflated to the PSishown on tires. If tires are over or underinflated, it may affect the appearance of yourlawn and lead you to think the mower is notadjusted properly.VISUAL SIDE-TO-SIDE ADJUSTMENT1. With all tires properly inflated and if yourlawn appears unevenly cut, determinewhich side of mower is cutting lower.NOTE: As desired, you can raise the lowside of mower or lower the high side.2. Go to side of mower you wish to adjust.3. With a 3/4" or adjustable wrench, turnlift link adjustment nut (A) to the left tolower the mower, or, to the right to raisethe mower.5. Recheck measurements; adjust if neces-sary until both sides are equal.FRONT-TO-BACK ADJUSTMENTIMPORTANT: Deck must be level side-to-side.To obtain the best cutting results, the mowerblades should be adjusted so the front tipis 1/8 to 1/2" (3,1 to 12,7 mm) (lower thanthe rear tip when the mower is in its highestposition.,_CAUTION: Blades are sharp. Protectyour hands with gloves and/or wrap bladewith heavy cloth.• Raise mower to highest position.• Position any blade so the tip is pointingstraight forward. Test your adjustment by mowing someuncut grass and visually checking theappearance. Readjust, if necessary, untilyou are satisfied with the results.PRECISION SIDE-TO-SIDE ADJUSTMENT1.
