4. Removethe idler pulleyby removingthe hexscrewand jam locknut. See Figure28.5. Removethe old beltand install the newbelt. Followthe instruc-tions in reverseorderto re-installthe belt keeperand belt cover.See Figure28.NOTE:Uponreassembly,makecertain the beltis routedoverthe idlerpulleyand insideof the beltkeepersbythe engine pulley.TINESThetines will wearwith useand shouldbe inspectedat the beginningof eachtillingseasonand after every30 operatinghours.Thetinescan be replaced.Referto the PartsList sectionof this manualfor partnumbers.Tine InspectionWith use,the tines will becomeshorter,narrowerand pointed.Badlyworntines will resultin a lossof tillingdepth,and reducedeffective-nesswhen choppingup and turningunderorganicmatter.Removing/Installing a Tine Assembly1. Lightlyfile or sand,as needed.Applyathincoat of greaseto the shaft.Securethe fine assemblyto the tine shaftusingthe clevispin andbow-tiecotterpin.ADJUSTMENTSHandleThe handlemay be adjustedto thedesiredheight.Referto theAssemblysectionfor details.Secondary Clutch Cable AdjustmentIf additionaladjustmentis necessaryafter the primaryadjustmentfromthe Assemblysectioncan no longerbe used,the secondaryadjust-ment can be performedas follows:1.
