We can help.Call Customer Service Toll-Free 1-800-222-3136Or visit our website www.craftsman.comUnpack pressure washerRemove everything from carton except pressure washer.1.Open carton completely by cutting each corner from top to bottom.2.Ensure you have all included items prior to assembly.3.If items are damaged or missing, call 1-800-222-3136.Assemble pressure washerPlace handle (a) against two upright posts.1.Insert two carriage bolts (c) towards outside, through holes at2.bottom of handle. Fully tighten handle in an upright position with twoplastic knobs (d).Place accessory tray (b) over four holes on front side of handle.3.Push all four tree clips (e) into holes until they sit flat againstaccessory tray.Add engine oil and fuelNOTICE: Before starting the engine, check oil level and ensure thatengine is serviced as described in the operator’s manual.NOTICE: DO NOT use E85 fuel.NOTICE: DO NOT mix oil with fuel.Move pressure washer outdoors to a flat, level surface.1.Remove oil fill cap (A). Slowly pour entire contents of oil bottle (h)2.into oil fill.Replace and fully tighten oil fill cap.3.Remove fuel cap (B). Add clean, fresh, UNLEADED fuel. Allow space4.in fuel tank for fuel expansion.Replace fuel cap. Running1.engines give off carbon monoxide.Keep at least 5 ft. (152 cm) clearance on all sides of pressure washer2.including overhead to reduce the risk of exhaust heat or exhaustgases igniting nearby combustible material.Connect spray gunAttach high pressure hose (g) to spray gun (j).1.Remove and discard 2 shipping caps from high pressure outlet2.and garden hose inlet connections.Uncoil high pressure hose and attach to high pressure outlet.3.Connect water supplyNOTICE: If inlet screen is damaged or missing,DO NOT use pressure washer, call 1-800-222-3136.Inspect garden hose inlet screen for damage.1.Clean screen if necessary. Refer to operator’s manual for instructions.2.Run cold water through garden hose for 30 seconds to clean out any3.debris. Garden hose length must not exceed 50 feet. Turn off watersupply and attach garden hose to water inlet. Tighten by hand.Start pressure washerNOTICE: You MUST connect and turn on water supply fully beforestarting engine.Turn on water supply.1.Put on safety goggles.2.Push trigger lock (red button) on spray gun and pull trigger until3.water comes out in a steady stream. Release trigger to lockedposition.Attach quick connect wand (k) to spray gun (j).4.Choose desired spray tip (f), pull back on collar of quick connect5.wand (k). Insert spray tip and release collar. Tug on spray tip tomake sure it is securely in place.Move throttle lever (C) to FAST (6. ) position.Press primer bulb (D) firmly 5 times, waiting 2 seconds between7.each push.When starting engine, position yourself as recommended and grasp8.starter grip handle and pull slowly until you feel some resistance.Then pull rapidly to start engine. After each starting attempt, whereengine fails to run, always point spray gun in a safe direction, pushred button and squeeze spray gun trigger to release retained highwater pressure.Point gun toward surface to be cleaned. Push trigger lock (red9.button) and pull trigger to begin spraying.Stop pressure washerLet engine idle for 2 minutes.1.Move throttle lever (C) to SLOW (2. ) position,then STOP ( ) position.Turn off water supply.3.Point spray gun in safe direction, push trigger lock, and squeeze4.spray gun trigger to relieve retained high water pressure.Disconnect garden hose from pump.5.Disconnect high pressure hose from pump and gun for storage.
