Mostplastics are susceptible to damage from various types ofcommercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.A WARNING: Do not at any time let brake fluids,gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetratingoils, etc. come in contact with plastic parts. Chemi-cals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic whichmay result in serious personal injury.Only the parts shown on the parts list are intended to berepaired or replaced by the customer. All other partsshould be replaced at a Sears Service Center.REPLACING BULBSSee Figures 5 - 7.Over time, the bulb will burn out. When this occurs,replacing the bulb will be necessary. Be careful not totouch the bulb glass. This will reduce the life of the bulb.To replace a bulb:• Remove battery from the spotlight and let it cool for atleast 5 minutes.• Turn the bezel counterclockwise to remove.LENS LENSSEALTOREMOVE_.,,_ REPLACE_ GROOVEBEZELREFLECTORRIDGENOTCHESREFLECTORASSEMBLY Fig. 5• Remove the reflector assembly from the spotlighthousing. Do not pull on the leads connected to theassembly.• Remove the white connection point from its nest in thehousing.RETAINERPINCONNECTIONPOINTREFLECTORASSEMBLYWHITERED CONNECTIONCIRCUIT TERMINALLEADCONNECTIONPOINTNESTFig. 6• Remove the white connection terminal from itsconnection point.NOTE: Do not pull white lead without holding theconnection point, as this may damage lead.• Remove the retainer pin from the reflector and removebulb assembly. Bulb assembly may be rotated inreflector if needed to aid in removal.• Install new bulb assembly.• Replace bulb retainer pin.• Hold white connection terminal and reconnect whitelead.• Return the white connection point to its nest.• Align tabs on each side of lens seal with notches onspotlight housing and seat lens seal in place.• Reattach bezel carefully by rotating clockwise.• Tighten securely.NOTE: Always ask for replacement bulb H3 6V55W,number 019020001007.CAUTION: Do not use a higher rated bulb otherthan the specified wattage. This could causedamage to the product.
