If you lose all forward speed, keep weight uphill and apply thebrakes. Lock the parking brake after you are stopped. If you begin rollingbackwards, keep weight uphill; never apply engine power. Never apply the rearbrake while rolling backwards. Apply the single-lever brake gradually. When fullystopped, apply rear brake as well, and then lock parking brake. Dismount on uphillside, or to either side if pointed straight uphill. Turn the ATV around and remountfollowing the procedure described in Section 12 “Riding – Turning around on aHill”.POTENTIAL HAZARDImproperly operating over obstacles.WHAT CAN HAPPENCould cause loss of control or a collision.
