If you connect the USB cablebefore installing the software and the Found New Hardware Wizard screen appears, click[Cancel].Log on as Administrator to install the software.Make sure the machine is turned ON before connecting the USB cable.Click on the circled button on each screen to proceed to the next step.A USB cable is not included with the machine.••••••Installation Procedure1Insert the UFRII LT/FAX UserSoftware CD-ROM.If you want to install only thePCL Driver, proceed to step 28.For more information refer tothe Printer Driver InstallationGuide (located on the PCL UserSoftware CD-ROM).If you want to install only the PSDriver (when the optional PSPrinter Kit is attached), proceedto step 28. For more informationrefer to the Printer DriverInstallation Guide (located onthe PS User Software CD-ROM).––If you want to install the PCL/PSdriver by connecting the USBcable (plug and play), it isnecessary to change thesettings of the machine. Press(Main Menu) → → Management Set.>* → Selection (PnP)> → →//depending on the desireddriver. After changing themachine settings, install thedriver using the same procedureas for the UFR II Printer Driver.(See steps 6 to 11.).* If the screen appears promptingyou to enter the SystemManager ID and SystemPassword, enter the SystemManager ID and SystemPassword using - (numerickeys), then press (Log In/Out).
