Changing Camera Settings144Changing the File Number AssignmentImages you shoot are automatically assigned file numbers in the order theywere taken, from 0001 – 9999, and saved to folders of up to 2,000 images.You can change the file number assignment.● Choose [File Numbering], then press theqr buttons to choose an option.Creating Folders by Shooting DateImages are saved into folders created each month, however, you can alsocreate folders by shooting date.● Choose [Create Folder], then press theqr buttons to choose [Daily].● Images will be saved into folders createdon each shooting date.Register the start-up image or sounds with the includedsoftwareThe dedicated operation sounds and start-up images on the included softwarecan be registered to the camera. Refer to the Software Guide for details.ContinuousEven if you shoot using a newmemory card, the file numbersare assigned consecutively untilan image with the number 9999is taken/saved.Auto ResetIf you replace the memory cardwith a new one, or a new folderis created, file numberingbegins with 0001 again.• If you use a memory card already containing images, the newly assignedfile numbers may continue the existing numbering for both [Continuous]and [Auto Reset].
