Paper Drawers3-4Routine Maintenance33 Open a package of paper, andtake out the paper stack from thepackage.CAUTIONTake care not to cut your hands onthe edges of the paper when loadingit into the machine.IMPORTANTRewrap any remaining paper in itsoriginal package, and store it in a dryplace, away from direct sunlight.NOTE• For high-quality printouts, use paperrecommended by Canon.• Before loading paper, always fan thesheets several times, and align theedges to facilitate feeding.4 Load the paper stack into thepaper drawer.Even out the edges of the paper stack. Loadthe paper stack against the end guide of thepaper drawer.When loading paper into the paper drawerfor the first time, set the size plate and thepaper-size detecting lever for the paperbeing loaded.
