115Trouble?EDirect Print Related MessagesThe following messages may appear on the camcorder screen. On printers equipped withan operation panel or printers that can be connected to a TV, an error number ormessage appears on the panel or TV monitor. Refer to the printer’s instruction manual tofind out how to solve the problems corresponding to each error number or message.CARD FULL No remaining capacity on the memory card. Replace with anothercard or erase images.–NAMING ERROR The folder and file numbers have reached their maximum value. –THIS IMAGE CANNOTBE RECORDEDSome analog images cannot be recorded on the memory carddepending on the signal.–UNIDENTIFIABLEIMAGEThe image was not recorded with JPEG compression, or wasrecorded with a compression incompatible with the camcorder, orthe image file is corrupted.–PRINT ORDERERRORYou attempted to set more than 998 still images in the print order. 102TRANSFER ORDERERRORYou attempted to set more than 998 transfer orders. 109CANNOT TRANSFER! You attempted to transfer a movie file as wallpaper. 107TOO MANY STILLIMAGES DISCONNECTUSB CABLEDisconnect the USB cable, decrease the number of still images onthe memory card to less than 1800. If a dialog appeared on thecomputer screen, close it. Reconnect the USB cable.–Message ExplanationPAPER ERROR There is a problem with the paper. The paper is not correctly inserted,the wrong paper size is inserted, or the ink cannot be used with theselected paper.NO PAPER There is no paper. If the printer is equipped with a photo paper cassette,specify the paper feed location using the Paper Feed switch.PAPER JAM The paper jammed during printing. Select [STOP] to cancel printing.After removing the paper, set some paper again and press the resumebutton on the printer.INK ERROR Refer to the printer’s manual to solve the problem.NO INK The ink cartridge is not inserted or is out of ink. Refer to the printer’smanual to solve the problem.LOW INK LEVEL The ink cartridge needs to be replaced soon. Select [CONTINUE] torestart printing.WASTE TANK FULL Waste tank is full. Select [CONTINUE] to restart printing. Consult yourdealer or a Canon Service Center listed in the Contact List provided withthe printer or the printer manual to replace the waste tank (waste inkabsorber).FILE ERROR You attempted to print an image that was recorded with anothercamcorder, with a different compression, or was edited on a computer.CANNOT PRINT! You attempted to print an image that was recorded with anothercamcorder, with a different compression, or was edited on a computer.COULD NOT PRINT XIMAGESYou attempted to use the print order settings to print X images that wererecorded with another camcorder, with a different compression or wereedited on a computer.SET PRINT ORDER No still images on the memory card have been marked with a printorder.Message Explanation
