This consumes a lot of ink. This does notindicate a problem with the printer.Head Cleaning B in the Control Panel menuconsumes a lot of ink. This does not indicate aproblem with the printer. Unless the printer hasbeen moved or stored for a long period or you aretroubleshooting Printhead problems, we recommendnot performing Head Cleaning B, to the extentpossible.After initial installation or at the first-time use aftertransfer, ink flows into the system between the InkTank and Printhead, which may cause the ink levelindicators to drop to 80%. This does not indicate aproblem with the printer.The printer has not detected thenew Maintenance Cartridge thatwas used to replace the old one.Many full-page color images areprinted.Head Cleaning B in the ControlPanel menu is executedfrequently.You have just finished initialinstallation, when more ink isconsumed to fill the system.Check for nozzle clogging.The printhead nozzles areclogged. (→"Checking for Nozzle Clogging," User Manual)The printer may have shut downincorrectly last time. This mayhappen after power outages or ifthe printer is unplugged before it isturned off.Please wait a while, because it may take severalminutes to finish checking the hard disk.The printer takes time to start upIn this case, the next time poweris restored, the printer's hard diskis checked, and startup may takesome time.If an error message is displayed after the hard diskcheck, follow the instructions indicated to resolve theproblem.
