Spark plugInstallationPrior to installation make sure that con-tact surfaces of cylinder heads andspark plugs are free of grime.Using a feeler gauge, set the sparkplug gap between 0.6 to 0.7 mm(0.024 to 0.027 in).Apply anti-seize lubricant over sparkplug threads to prevent a possibleseizure.Screw spark plugs into cylinder headsby hand and tighten with a torquewrench and a proper socket.Torque spark plugs to 20 N•m(15 lbf•ft).Battery WARNINGNever charge a battery while in-stalled in vehicle.RemovalDisconnect BLACK (-) cable first thenRED (+) cable.
