This kitincludes: PTFE wire liner (Part Number:WC403621AV) , smooth-groove driveroller (Part Number: WC500806AV) ,four pieces of 0.030" (0.8 mm)aluminum contact tips (Part Number:WT501700AV), and 2 compression seals.These parts, when installed in yourwelder, allow welding aluminum withgreater success. Along with this kit, youwill need a spool of 0.030" (0.8 mm)aluminum MIG wire (Part Number:WE303001AV) and a bottle of 100%Argon shielding gas (available fromyour local welding gas supplier).PTFE Wire LinerThe PTFE wire liner reduces the drag onthe soft aluminum welding wire. DONOT USE TO WELD STEEL. This linershould be used for aluminum weldingonly to prevent contamination.1. Verify the welder is OFF andUNPLUGGED.2. Open wire feed door and locatedrive deck. Remove torch cablecover by removing three screws (seefigure 1).3. Remove swan neck/valve assemblyfrom handle (see figure 3).5. Using two 14 mm wrenches, holdthe compression nut and loosen thejam nut (see figure 4a). Thenremove the compression nut. Straighten the torch hose andremove the existing wire liner,compression nut and compressionseal. Then remove the compressionnut from the wire liner. Note:sometimes the compression seal isstuck to the wire liner; therefore,new seals are included in this kit.7. Insert new PTFE wire liner into torchhose. Slide compression nut andnew compression seal onto wireliner. Slide wire liner into swan neckuntil it stops against the back of thecontact tip. Tighten the compressionnut and then tighten the jam nut.8. Place swan neck/valve assembly intotorch handle, making sure smallwires are located correctly (seefigure 5).
