2-3Power WindowsThe power window controls are located on the side ofboth front doors and the rear doors.The driver’s door has a switch for the passengerwindows as well. Your power windows will workwhen the ignition is in ACCESSORY or RUN orwhen Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is active.See “Retained Accessory Power” in the Index.Press the rear of the switch with the power windowsymbol on it to lower the window or the front to raise it.Express- Down WindowAll power windows have this feature. This allows thewindows to be lowered without holding the switch.Press and hold the rear of the window switch briefly toactivate the express- down mode. The express- downmode can be canceled at any time by pressing theopposite side of the switch. To open the windowpartway, lightly tap the switch until the window isat the desired position.Rear Window LockoutThe power window switches have a lockout feature.This feature prevents the passenger windows fromoperating except from the driver’s position when thebutton labeled WINDOW LOCK is engaged. Whenthe button is not engaged, the passenger windows willoperate normally.
