The battery will come in handywhen you travel or during a power failure. It is advisable to have an extrafully-charged battery pack available for backup. The battery pack isinstalled in the battery compartment. Before removing the battery pack,make sure the notebook power is off. Follow these steps to remove thebattery.1. Press the cover release and slidethe cover out.2. Pull out the battery using the clothstrip attached to the end of thebattery pack.
