USING THE DETERGENT2030M AX1234+ -A BCCAUTION!Use only detergents for dish-washers.1. Press the release button (B) toopen the lid (C).2. Put the detergent in the compart-ment (A) .3. If the programme has a prewashphase, put a small quantity of de-tergent on the inner part of the ap-pliance door.4. If you use detergent tablets, putthe tablet in the compartment (A).5. Close the lid. Make sure that therelease button locks into position.Do not use more than the cor-rect quantity of detergent. Referto the instructions on the deter-gent packaging.Detergent tablets do not fullydissolve with short programmesand detergent residues can stayon the dishes.We recommend that you usedetergent tablets with long pro-grammes.SETTING AND STARTING APROGRAMMESetting modeThe appliance must be in setting modeto accept some operations.The appliance is in setting mode when,after the activation:• All the programme indicators comeon.• The display shows two horizontal sta-tus bars.If the control panel shows other condi-tions, press and hold Delay and Startat the same time until the appliance isin setting mode.Starting a programme withoutdelay start1. Open the water tap.2. Press the on/off button to activatethe appliance.3. Close the appliance door.4. Make sure that the appliance is insetting mode.5. Press Program again and again un-til the indicator of the programmethat you want to set comes on.• The programme duration flashesin the display.• The phase indicators of the setprogramme come on.6. If you want, you can set the options.7. Press Start. The programme starts.• Only the indicator of the phase inoperation stays on.34
