• Before carrying out a Pyrolitic self-cleaning function or the First Use func-tion please remove from the oven cav-ity:– Any excess food residues, oil orgrease spills / deposits.– Any removable objects (includingshelves, side rails etc., provided withthe product) particularly any non-stick pots, pans, trays, utensils etc.• Read carefully all the instructions forPyrolytic cleaning.• Keep children away from the appli-ance while the Pyrolytic cleaning is inoperation. The appliance becomesvery hot.• Pyrolitic cleaning is a high tempera-ture operation that can release fumesfrom cooking residues and construc-tion materials, as such consumers arestrongly advised to:– Provide good ventilation during andafter each Pyrolytic cleaning.– Provide good ventilation during andafter the first use at maximum tem-perature operation.– Remove any pets (especially birds)from the vicinity of the appliance lo-cation during and after the Pyrolyticcleaning and first use maximumtemperature operation to a wellventilated area.• Unlike all humans, some birds andreptiles can be extremely sensitive topotential fumes emitted during thecleaning process of all PyrolyticOvens.• Small pets can also be highly sensitiveto the localized temperature changesin the vicinity of all Pyrolytic Ovenswhen the Pyrolytic self cleaning pro-gram is in operation.• Non-stick surfaces on pots, pans,trays, utensils etc., can be damagedby the high temperature Pyrolyticcleaning operation of all PyrolyticOvens and can be also a source forlow level harmful fumes.• Fumes released from all PyrolyticOvens / Cooking Residues as descri-bed are not harmful to humans, in-cluding infants or persons with medi-cal conditions.2.4 Internal light• The type of light bulb or halogen lampused for this appliance, is only forhousehold appliances. Do not use itfor house lighting.WARNING!Risk of electrical shock.• Before replacing the lamp, disconnectthe appliance from the power supply.• Only use lamps with the same specifi-cations.2.5 DisposalWARNING!Risk of injury or suffocation.• Disconnect the appliance from themains supply.• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.• Remove the door catch to preventchildren and pets to get closed in theappliance.6 www.aeg.com
