Therefore, acontinuous measurement of the outgoing current is carried out on a 4...20mA output signal. If the current output signal is different from the internallycalculated output value or the current output is 0 (due to e.g. an open circuitbreakage), an error mode switches on the red front LED and disables therelays. This function is not a default option but must be actively selected viathe programming menu (S4...20 & S20...4).The error mode can only be reset by switching off and then switching on thesupply voltage to the device.
