If the doorremains locked in case of failure, it ispossible to open it using the emergencyunlock feature.Before opening the door:12.2 Emergency Door OpeningMake sure that the water temperatureand the laundry are not hot. Wait untilthey cool down if necessary.WARNING!Make sure that the drum is notrotating. Wait until the drum stopsrotating if necessary.Make sure that the water level insidethe drum is not too high. If necessary,perform an Emergency Drain(see page 32).To open the door proceed as follows:1. Press the On/Off button to switch theappliance off.2. Disconnect the mains plug from themains socket.3. Open the filter cover.4. Using a suitable tool to pulling theemergency unlock strap (red strap)downward twice (you will hear “click”sound) and hold it, at the same timepull the door handle to open the door.If the door cannot open while holdingthe strap, try to release it then openthe door.5. Take out the laundry.6. Close the filter flap.
