4INSTALLATIONIt is mandatory that all operations required for theinstallation be carried out by QUALIFIEDPERSONNEL in accordance with existing rulesand regulations.The appliance must be installed in accordancewith " X " specification (EN60.335-2.6). Thecooker must not be installed higher than theworktop.Please ensure that when the appliance isinstalled it is easily accessible for theengineer in the event of a breakdown.Before your appliance is connected to the mainselectricity supply, check to ensure that the voltageand the frequency shown on the rating platecorresponds with your supply voltage.This appliance must be earthed.Before installation ensure that the local distributionconditions (gas type and pressure) and the pre-setting of the appliance are consistent.This appliance must not connected to a chimney.It has to be installed and connected inaccordance with the rules in force. Specialattention should be paid to the applicabledisposal concerning ventilation.The adjusting conditions of this appliance arementioned on the rating plate.Connection to gas supply.Check that the gas flow and the diameter of thesupply pipe is sufficient to supply all theappliances of the installation.• Check that all connections are tight.• Install an accessible and visible gas tap toisolate the appliance.LOCATIONThe cooker has been registered as a “ClassX”appliance according to Fire Risk Regulations.Any adjacent cabinets or walls must not exceedthe cooker’s height.The cooker may be located in a kitchen, akitchen/diner or bed sitting room, but not in abathroom or shower room.The minimum distance combustible material canbe fitted above the cooker in line with the edgesof the cooker is 69 cm (see fig.)The appliance must be set on aheatproof floor.
