654ZB, 62ZBZ- Beast Finish MowerRev: AUG2014Z- BEAST Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS)Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS)This mower is equipped with a roll over protectivestructure (ROPS) and a seat belt. Do not remove theROPS or seat belt. ROPS reduces the chance of injury inthe event of a rollover. Overturning the machine withoutROPS can result in serious injury or death. ALWAYS usethe seat belt when the ROPS is in the raised position.If the ROPS must be lowered for clearance, return ROPSto raised position when clearance is no longer required.NEVER use the seat belt when the ROPS is in the loweredposition. If the ROPS is lowered for transportation, returnit to the raised position before operating the machine.WARNINGALWAYS use the seat belt when the ROPS is in theraised position. Failure to do so could result in seriousinjury or death in the event of a rollover. NEVER use theseat belt with the ROPS in the lowered position.Lowering ROPSIf additional clearance is needed the ROPS may belowered. Lower the ROPS using the following steps:1. Remove the two retaining pins.2. Place the ROPS in the lowered position.3. Insert the pins into the lowered position holes.NEVER use the seatbelt when the ROPS is in the loweredposition. Return ROPS to the raised position whenadditional clearance is no longer required. |
