12 2 ESC/P Mode Settings2 ESC/P Mode Settings2.1 About the Mode MenuThis section explains the types of menus and hierarchy of the emulation mode menus.This Printer’s MenusThe menu is divided into two menus, a mode menu for making emulation related settings,and a common menu for making other printer settings.You can set the following items in the common menu when using ESC/P emulation.• Port Status (Parallel/Serial/LPD/NetWare/SMB/IPP/USB/Port9100)Set the port that uses ESC/P emulation to [Enable].• Print Mode (Parallel/Serial/LPD/NetWare/SMB/IPP/USB/Port9100) (default: [Auto])Sets specify port print mode so that you can use ESC/P emulation. Select [ESC/P] or[Auto] as the print mode.
