The originals should be in goodcondition, and without staples or paper clips.Adjust the edge guides against the original. Otherwise, thecopies may print incorrectly or the originals may jam.For fastest performance, place the originals Long EdgeFeed with the top of the document away from you.l If using the Document Glass...Use the Document Glass to copy bound, stapled, folded orwrinkled originals, odd or oversize documents, books, orglossy photographs.Raise the Document Glass Cover.Place the original face down into the top left corner of theglass.
