Thepassword will display as asterisks.9. Press the Enter key to confirm the re-entry. You will be returnedto the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION menu screen. The newpassword is now effective. The old password is no longer valid.At most installations, users have the ability to recall the last imagescanned and all the settings associated with that image. The recalledimage can then be printed without the need to scan from the originaldocument.Security concerns at certain installations, however, might require that theimage recall feature be disabled. The SECURITY SETTINGS option ofthe System Administration menu allows the system administrator toenable or disable the image recall feature. The default setting isENABLED.To enable/disable the image recall feature:1. Access the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION menu.2. Press the Next key until SECURITY SETTINGS is highlighted.3. Press the Enter key to select SECURITY SETTINGS. TheSECURITY SETTINGS screen is displayed.SECURITY SETTINGSIMAGE RECALL: ENABLED4. Press the Previous or Next key to highlight the desiredresponse, ENABLED or DISABLED.5. Press the Enter key to confirm your selection.6.
